I've had to work hard to change my story from being about overwork, burnout and sleepless, to one about self-care, calm and rested.

I should have multiple awards, and maybe even international recognition, for excelling in completely over-committing and over-engineering my life.  with an encore of driving the "just-push-through bus" until I couldn't push anything at all.

But that really had to change at midlife, and the answer was learning to feel okay about stopping doing all the things, and cultivating a restorative rest practice.
